Terminal 4 Cancun Airport
Inaugurated in 2017, Terminal 4 at Cancun International Airport services both domestic and international flights. As the first airport in Mexico with four terminals, this expansion was necessary due to increasing annual traffic and the growing number of hotels in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. The terminal also boasts an airport hotel, adding convenience for travelers.
Building Layout
Terminal 4 features two double-height levels and a mezzanine, housing duty-free shops, a food court, and various other establishments. This terminal, covering 67,000 square meters, represents a 36.7% increase in the airport's total area, incorporating check-in areas, security checkpoints, boarding gates, and baggage claim areas, with two operational runways.
Airlines and Sustainability
It has banks and cafeterias in the documentation area and several stores, restaurants, fast food and duty-free stores in the boarding area.
With the addition of Terminal 4, Cancun Airport has solidified its status as one of the leading airports in Latin America, serving as a vital hub for travelers throughout the region.
